Laboratory of Ultrafast Magneto-Spectroscopy (LUMS) specializes in optical spectroscopy of low-dimensional semiconductor systems such as two-dimensional layered materials, II-VI quantum wells, and dots with single magnetic ions or polariton microcavities.
The group has a molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) laboratory and a lithography laboratory at its disposal. We conduct experiments in the UV-VIS-NIR spectral range, in a magnetic field up to 10T, with a time resolution of 100 fs.
